JFS Arts and Aging is pleased to announce this new class offering for adults 55+, staring January 10, 2023. During this 8-week class, participants' favorite songs will be used as the medium to explore theory, history and meaning in music. Class members will also have a chance to connect with each other as we learn about each person's preferred music. Taught by Dr. Erika Qureshi, the course and materials are FREE OF CHARGE to participants, thanks to grants from the Utah Arts and Museums and Salt Lake City Arts Council.
Class will be held Tuesdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Day Riverside Library (1575 W 1000 N, Salt Lake City) from January 10 to February 28. Space is limited. Please register by Dec. 30, 2022 by contacting Emily Christensen, Arts & Aging Coordinator at JFS.
