Compassionate, Affordable Mental Health Care

At Jewish Family Service (JFS), we provide accessible and affordable mental health support designed to meet the unique needs of every client. Our counseling services are available for individuals, families, and couples in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Expert, Inclusive Counseling

Our licensed clinicians are experienced in helping clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions and stressors.

We utilize evidence-based therapies such as, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavoral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

All JFS clinicians are LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to providing safe, respectful care for all.

Affordable, Flexible Payment Options

We believe cost should never be a barrier to care. Therapy services are offered on a sliding-scale fee, ensuring high-quality support is available to both those with financial means and those in need of low-cost or free counseling services.

Language and Accessibility

We currently offer therapy services in English and Spanish, including support from a bilingual, native Spanish-speaking counselor. Sessions are available in-person or via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing, providing flexibility and comfort for every client.

Idioma y Accesibilidad

Educational Workshops

JFS offers a number of workshops and classes throughout the year to address specific mental health issues. From improved stress management skills to becoming a better parent, our programs offer help and support in difficult times.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Workshop

DBT is an evidence-based skills training program designed to assist participants in learning about mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and being able to engage with others more effectively.

DBT assists clients in stabilizing their symptoms, developing effective coping strategies, and improving all areas of functioning in a person’s life.
