What Is Legacy Giving?
As a community, we all hope that the places that create Jewish life and meaning in our lives will remain vibrant and strong into the future. Legacy giving helps individuals and families create gifts that provide a permanent source of support for the Jewish causes we care about. It is founded on the principle that all of us, regardless of age, wealth, or affiliation, can make an enduring impact. Several years ago, Jewish Family Service participated in a community-wide effort in partnership with The United Jewish Federation of Utah, Congregation Kol Ami, and Temple Har Shalom to encourage legacy giving and assure Jewish tomorrows in our community. Through this continued effort, we can ensure that future generations will continue to benefit from a strong and thriving Jewish community.
How Do I Participate?
Your legacy gift of any size can be customized and structured to fit your dreams, lifestyle, family, and financial needs. You can provide support for particular organizations or areas of interest. Leaving a Legacy is simple. Some options include:
- Charitable Remainder Trust
- Gift in Will or Trust
- Gift of Life Insurance
- Gift of Retirement Funds or IRA
- Gift of Cash or Assets
- Gift of Real Estate
- Charitable Gift Annuity
