Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Chai Hopes fundraiser, honoring Kathy Lynch and Marty Gelman. It was truly wonderful to see so many old and new faces supporting JFS. And to those who supported the event from afar—thank you as well. Your generosity and commitment helped make the evening a success, even if you couldn’t be there in person.

We truly couldn’t think of two more deserving individuals to honor. Over the years, Kathy and Marty have shown up for JFS in every way imaginable—with heart, time, and unwavering commitment. Thanks to the dedication of our Board, staff, and the generosity of friends like YOU, JFS continues to expand our reach and impact. We remain committed to providing essential programs to those in need, regardless of background.

A special thank you to Joanna Charnes for sharing her personal story of how JFS has supported her and her husband, Steve. Her powerful words remind us of the life-changing impact JFS has, offering hope during life’s most challenging times. Your generosity is especially meaningful as we face growing demand for food assistance, emergency services, support for older adults, and access to affordable mental health counseling.
