Although JFS supporters don’t often get to see their support in action, every dollar donated has a lasting impact.
In late October, JFS provided emergency rental assistance to "Emily," a client fleeing from domestic violence with her young son. Click below to read her heart-felt letter of appreciation.
"I am writing to you to express my gratitude for your generous donation towards my rent this month. I have been so worried and when I received the news that you had sent a check and then a call confirming what was received from my landlord, I broke down into tears of thanksgiving. I cannot properly express the depth of my appreciation to you for your consideration and gift in this time of uncertainty in my life. Thank you! I hope that one day not far from now that I will be in a position to help someone else as you have helped my son and me. Please accept my heartfelt appreciation for your caring to make a difference in our lives."
