Your gift makes a difference! Jewish Family Service is proud to serve all populations in Utah.  We serve hundreds of clients each year as we grow to meet increasing needs in the community.

  • $50 brings music to a person with Alzheimer's via JFS's Music and Memory program, connecting them to the world with beloved music.
  • $150 funds a comprehensive assessment and care plan for an older adult to live independently, or make a plan if they cannot.
  • $300 counsels a family in crisis to help them cope with addiction, job loss, depression, grief and other emotional challenges.
  • $750 provides a caregiver with respite help that allow much needed breaks from full time care for a loved one.
  • $1000 supports the work of our  Alex and Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry, filling the gaps in our social safety net for people hit hardest by crisis.
  • $1500 provides emergency assistance to prevent a family's homelessness during a crisis.

JFS is supported by local and national foundations, corporate grants, the United Jewish Federation of Utah, the United Way, and private donations. Discover the numerous ways that YOU can help JFS remain an open door to those in need.

Designated Days of Online Giving

JFS participates in Park City-based LivePCGivePC fundraising campaign and the state-wide Love UT Give Tuesday fundraising campaign in November every year. During these annual online fundraising days local communities come together for 24 hours of virtual giving - initiatives of The Park City Community Foundation and The Community Foundation of Utah, respectively. It's your chance to make an impact for nonprofits that help make Utah a great place to live. Watch for notices on JFS's website for dates of these upcoming campaigns

  • Organize a food drive

Give the gift of food! We provide food assistance through our on-site food pantry to individuals and families who are facing financial crises.

The number of people utilizing food pantries is growing due to record COVID-19 disruptions, unemployment, and rising food prices. Food bank visits are increasingly made by folks who have not previously needed any social service programs.

Please call contact Tanya Alvarado, Safety Net Coordinator at 801.746.4334 or for more information on donating food or organizing a food drive.
