Life & Legacy Giving

"As my parents planted for me before I was born, so do I plant for those who will come after me." TALMUD

Darcy Jack Legacy Pic Resized

“We’ve chosen to include JFS in our estate planning because of our belief in both repairing the world and leaving it a better place after we are gone. We can think of no organization that will be a better steward of our donation and make greater use of it than Jewish Family Service.”

-Darcy & Jack Amiel

Joy Bill Legacy Pic Resized

“Bill and I found that the Jewish Family Service aligns perfectly with our core values. We are honored to be able to make a Life and Legacy gift to JFS to help ensure the future of this extraordinary agency. Over the years, we have been proud to support many worthy Jewish causes in the Utah community, and I must say that none has touched us more than our involvement with Jewish Family Service.”

-Joy & Bill Erickson

What Is Life & Legacy?

As a community, we all hope that those places that create Jewish life and meaning in our lives will remain vibrant and strong into the future. LIFE & LEGACY, an initiative of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, helps individuals and families create legacy gifts, providing a permanent source of support for the Jewish causes we care about. It is founded on the principle that all of us, regardless of age, wealth or affiliation, can make an enduring impact. The United Jewish Federation of Utah in partnership with Congregation Kol Ami, Jewish Family Service, and Temple Har Shalom, are working together to encourage legacy giving to assure Jewish tomorrows in our community.

How Do I Participate?
