IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)

In 2021, qualified taxpayers may transfer no more than $100,000 from their IRA to eligible public charities like JFS each year.

The QCD is excluded from taxable income.  It avoids taxes on IRA distributions and can count toward required minimum distributions.

Contact your IRA administrator for information on how to make a QCD to JFS.

JFS does not provide tax or legal advice regarding ways to donate.  Please contact your tax advisor or lawyer if you have questions about how this option might apply to you.
