Stefany's Story

Stefany was in therapy pre-pandemic for anxiety. At the onset of the pandemic, she lost her job as a housekeeper. As a single mom, she needed to be able to pay rent and feed her children. Her anxiety became paralyzing. Stefany was at a loss for words and started to cry with gratitude when she found out that JFS would continue to provide free weekly counseling, as well as provide rental assistance.
