THANK YOU for recognizing that "Service Matters"! See a segment on ABC4-Utah News on the event HERE.
Thanks to all our guests, advertisers and sponsors who participated in the 8th annual JFS Tribute Dinner we raised the most money ever for our biggest fundraising event of the year! On October 25, 2015 Jewish Family Service honored Patrice Arent, Erin Litvack, and Fraser Nelson, individuals who have dedicated their professional and personal lives to community, public, and volunteer service, at our Tribute Dinner "Service Matters" held at the Little America Hotel. These extraordinary leaders have lived their lives knowing that "Service Matters." Their influence is evident in many sectors in our Utah community, from civic, and non-profit, to private. Their impact has touched a host of important issues, including the environment, education, the arts, HIV/AIDS, disability rights, gender equality, and homelessness, to name a few.
The Tribute Dinner raises vital funds so that JFS can continue to help individuals and families in our local community facing life's challenges – aging, illness, unemployment, financial uncertainty, hunger, mental health concerns, family problems, or personal issues. JFS serves people of all backgrounds by providing affordable mental health counseling, care management for seniors and respite for their caregivers, food pantry and emergency assistance funds to those who fall on hard times, and community education to the public.
